Terms & Conditions

***Service Timeline & Scope

Service pricing is based on completion within the estimated time frame. Service times are estimates and may vary based on system complexity and condition:

  • Crestron Home OS Upgrade & Tuneup: Based on service being completed within 3-4 hours
  • Home Theater Tuneup: Based on service being completed within 2-3 hours

Additional time required for troubleshooting existing problems, addressing previously undiscovered issues, or work beyond the scope defined above will be billed at our standard hourly rate. Client will be notified before any additional charges are incurred.

****Software & Firmware Updates

Updates are performed at the client's risk. While we take every precaution to ensure compatibility and stability, Stereo Types is not responsible for any time or materials related to troubleshooting or resolving problems that existed before or appear after an update. We will not update firmware if known compatibility issues exist with your specific integrations.

Promo service is available in the following regions:

  • Virginia: within 15 miles of Charlottesville, Waynesboro, Richmond, Goochland, Louisa & Midlothian
  • Florida: Lee & Collier Counties
  • Connecticut: Fairfield, Litchfield & New Haven Counties
  • New York: Westchester, Putnam, Orange Counties

Exclusions

The following are not included in these promotional services and are available at additional cost:

  • Repairs or replacement of faulty equipment or components
  • Programming changes or user interface redesign
  • Addition of new devices or integration of new systems
  • Cable replacement or extensive cable management
  • Network infrastructure upgrades or troubleshooting
  • Extended troubleshooting of pre-existing issues
  • Travel outside of specified service areas

Scheduling & Booking

Services must be scheduled and completed between November 25 and December 22 . Appointments are available Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, by appointment only. Holiday blackout dates may apply.

Payment & Cancellation

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept all major credit cards, checks, and electronic payments. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a $75 cancellation fee. Rescheduling is available at no charge with at least 48 hours notice.

Warranty & Guarantee

All work is guaranteed for 30 days from service date. If you experience any issues related to the service performed, we will return to address them at no additional charge within the warranty period. This warranty does not cover new problems, user error, or damage caused by factors outside our control.
