This integrated home demonstrates Stereo Types’ ability to seamlessly blend the latest technology into yesterday’s design and architecture.

For this project, Stereo Types was engaged by design partner, Danglish, Gilpin, and Paxton Architects. The goal; deliver a user-friendly whole-house media and technology solution that disappears into the history of this 1800s farm house remodel and expansion.

To deliver a technology that blends into a historical home is no easy task, but careful planning and interior design conscious product curation, Stereo Types put together a solution utilizing custom-built speakers that virtually disappears into the home.

From the antique brass toggle-style light switches to custom-built speakers that blend into the living room trim work to invisible speakers that literally disappear into the dining room walls, Stereo Types attention to the architecture is evident throughout. To bring all these things to life, a Crestron audio/video and control system was commissioned that makes using the TVs, Music, Lighting, and custom Crestron Roman electric shades easy to use.
